Absolutely stunning restaurant and staff ! The food was fantastic! Reservations required note that !
A year ago I reviewed it as a "gem in Syracuse." Now it's a clinker. I don't understand the mix of a fine dining menu (and the food is still wonderful) with live music that is not very good and so loud you have to shout to converse. ---------------------------------------------- A gem in Syracuse. A couple small plates a person makes a generous menu. The arancini and stuffed dates were delicious and the grilled romaine salad was exceptional.
Our favorite restraunt in Syracuse during our first ever trip. Very modern-fancy. We went off season so it was easy to get a table (we didn't get a reservation), but WARNING--the staff told us they can booked up fast during the summer months. We had a combination of the tomato tart (decadent cheese mix, would highly recommend), Asian lettuce wraps (perfectly savory/full of umami), crispy chicken wontons (not greasy, perfectly crunchy, with an elevated sweet&sour-like Thai sauce), and the gold beet salad (my personal favorite--a combination of all the major tastes rolled into one beautiful salad). Their drink menu was extensive and we each had 2 drinks (Japanese Old fasion--Japanese whiskey beats 80% of American whiskeys imo, Pomegranate Marg--excellent balance of sweetness with the liquor, Blueberry Bourbon Sour--an elevated, bourbon version of an Electric Lemonade soda, and a Raspberry Lemon Drop--standard lemon Drop with an extra kiss of sweetness with the raspberry). I cant sing enough praise about our experience here. 10/10, highly recommending going multiple times and enjoying the experience!
Such a great gem here in the heart of lake country. We had an amazing dinner, we were celebrating my girlfriend's promotion and wanted to go somewhere really nice and they were all we wanted. Cassie, our server was spot one and Matt the bartender guided us on a good port for dessert. Loved the atmosphere, there was music but not too loud and the decor was great, I just can't say enough about it. And the food, oh so good! Her filet just melted in your mouth a d my tuna was seared to perfection. Definitely worth checking out.
How have I not eaten here before! Everything was perfect! I didn't take a pic of the brussel sprout appetizer but it was delicious too. The water boy was amazing...he kept our water glasses full! Fine dining at its best!!!
I visited here for the first time for lunch. Went with my wife and we absolutely loved the restaurant. It was very low-key and there were not a lot of people in there. Due to this, we were able to have a lot of conversations with the wait staff and felt like it was almost an individual dining experience. The drinks, the food, and the atmosphere was incredible. We will definitely be coming back. Worth every penny! Delicious and great job!
Had an excellent dining experience with family tonight! All of the cocktails are fantastic but the best was the the Blueberry Bourbon Sour. The ice cube is made with a special limoncello and fruit mixture that elevates the flavors as you drink. If you’re in the mood for small bites there’s about no way that you can can go wrong. The Brie and apricot is airy and refreshing. The Crab and Manchego dip was the winner for me though. A divine combination of lumpy crab and hot cheese on top of their signature crostinis (even a picky eater will want an order of bread!). As an entree the filet is cooked to perfection and was tender and flavorful. The shrimp risotto also is some of the best that I have ever had. If you’re still not full, I would suggest the four cheese pasta or the chocolate layered cake. Both excellent by their own right. The service was incomparable as every staff member was attending to our needs instantly. If you haven’t checked this place you should make a reservation! This is one of those rare gems in the area!
I was on a little getaway/mom retreat by myself and decided to try The Lakeside on a Friday night. It was so spectacular that I came back the following night. Everything that I ordered was freakishly delicious and the service was on point. I would drive an hour to have dinner here again. Highly highly recommend!
